Betfair released their iPad App in the Apple Store last week, which offers some pretty unique custom enhancements made just for the iPad. The app is free to download, and includes features such as:

The signature Apple-esque intuitive landing page, along with access to popular events along with live scores.

Betting functionality that mirrors what is available on the website.

Access that is seamless to Betfair’s betting site. This also includes the insight and analysis that Betfair’s content team comes up with.

And a big one… The ability to deposit as well as withdraw funds from anywhere using the app.

Surprisingly, the app covers quite a bit of Betfair’s market, as 10 percent of the company’s account holders wager through mobile phones as well as devices such as tablets. Last year alone, more than £800 million in bets were made though mobile devices in a mere six months time period. It is expected that number will continue to grow, and Betfair is ready for it to with their new app for the iPad.
