Vegas Technology
Vegas Technology
Vegas Technology was founded in 1996, in Toronto, Ontario. It started out as OddsOn, a payment processor, who took payments and transferred money over the internet for individuals and companies associated with the e-commerce industry. A very innovative service, OddsOn was a very successful project. The company soon branched out beyond banking and created a software division, where many new cutting edge Java games came to life.
OddsOn then acquired Antigua and Barbados gaming licenses, and were set to enter a market that their banking experienced had prepared them well for. Their work with e-commerce and internet banking had laid the foundation for their new work, as they would be dealing with processing credit card funds over the internet.
In 2003, OddsOn became the software development department of English Harbour Gaming Ventures, one of the most reputable online casino operators on the web. It was then that they dropped the name “OddsOn” and became Vegas Technology.
Today, Vegas Technology has over 100 game titles, most of which are available in downloadable and web-based versions. They are well known for providing games with great graphics and sounds, an element that must be derived from their earlier work with Java Script. They are audited by Certified Fair Gaming, a third party company that analyzes the logs of their major games each month to ensure that customers are not being cheated.
With over 80 types of slot machines and 15 video poker selections, Vegas Technology has chosen to specialize in a specific type of gaming, which is why the most distinguishing factor of Vegas Technology is its work with slots tournaments. Almost all of their nearly 100-game collection of slots is offered in multiplayer tournament mode, which has players flocking to Vegas Technology casinos regularly.
